The hallmarks are clear for all items ( see photo ) except the goldsmith. The initials are appear to be " SH " which could be Samuel Hennell, son of Robert Hennell. T are very lightly scratched letters & numbers on the bottom of each piece from the assay office. The design on this set is a crisp, clear serpentine bright cut with incredibly beautiful craftsmanship. The beauty of this craftsmanship is evident in the attention to details. The designed shape is proportionally fine & solid. The quality of each piece is evident in the weight, strength and durability of this 200 year old set. The 4 ball feet are solidly connected. The handles are beautifully shaped. T are no initials on either piece. The weight of the set is 1 pound 0.5 ounces on my USPS postal scale, so this is weigh in fluid ounces, not Troy ounces.
