Superb antique cased glass bud vase with a ruffled edge and very distinctive "beetle" themed hand-enamelled decoration. From a very good Dallas moving sale and unconditionally guaranteed authentic and old. Your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree that it is authentic after you see it in person, but check out the pics and know that you aren't going to be disappointed. Totally unmarked, except for a model number on the underside of the base (see pics). I'm unsure of the maker, but the very unique decoration may assist the experts out t in determining who made it. Almost certainly English/Victorian and I would date it to about 1870 - 1890. Measures about 6" tall; it is a nice sized example. MINT condition on very careful and honest inspection in strong light. T is a tiny ripple in the glass near the mouth of the vase at one point, not any type of wear or damage issue, but rather a tiny manufacturing flaw (mentioned mostly for completeness). NO chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabites, mineral deposits, or wear to the enamelled decoration. The pics are very honest and show the condition well and you will not be disappointed in the condition of this piece.
