A MATCHING PAIR OF ANTIQUE ERCO WOODEN PROPELLERS. These are variable pitch 2 piece propellers, I believe they are some of the first ones manufactured made of wood. They are marked AAF and believed to be from a WWII period ( USAAF ) U.S. Army Air Force BT-13 trainer, but I am not sure so please do your own research. Google search ERCO PROPELLER for more info. They are in very good condition showing normal use and wear. These are a work of art! The wood patterns are absolutely beautiful! There is no damage! The tips or leading edges have not been struck. They have some thin ageing cracks, but not bad. The ERCO decals are super nice. They measure 52" long x 9 1/2" wide. A GREAT ADDITION TO YOUR AVIATION OR MAN ROOM! DON'T MISS THESE! ***** I personally cannot pack these for shipping. ***** The hub is metal and they weigh about 53 pounds a piece. I can take them to a professional packer and the winning bidder will be responsible for all packing and shipping charges or you can save shipping charges and pick these up at my home in Birmingham, Alabama. PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THIS AUCTION TILL THE PACKING & SHIPPING CHARGES ARE DETERMINED!!!!
