This is an Antique ring from the estate of a fine collector. It is a Cameo ring in approx. size 5.5. It is marked "OB 10K" on the inside. OB stands for the famous company Ostby & Barton of RI, which made jewelry from the 1800s until the 1940s (and Ostby perished on the Titanic). It is a lovely and delicate ring. The cameo is in excellent condition. However, the band is a little bent and does need to be bent back into shape. We are leaving that up to you, as this is a very old and delicate ring and it might need to be resized anyway. T is no damage to the ring other than the band being bent (which a jeweler can easily fix). Thus, we are starting the auction lower than usual for this treasure. Please do keep in mind that antiques of this age do usually some signs of wear. The cameo itself is just spectacular. It is a quality antique piece and would be a great addition to your collection -- and also a chance to own a piece of history! ** If you have any questions about our items listed for auction, please feel free to email us, and we will be happy to provide you with more information.
