Up for Auction is this very old antique Victorian Art Deco Peridot ring set in 10 Kt rose gold. It is a very unusual style and I think was a designer ring as it has some hallmarks in the band but I can't make them out. A stunning beautiful emerald cut stone and my pictures do not do it justice. It looks like it has a flaw in the pictures but it doesn't. It is the brace (see side view) showing through the stone. A very sturdy mounting because it is held in at 4 corners. I'm not sure how many carats this stone is but you can see in the photo next to the quarter it is fairly large. The ring is a small size about a 5 or 5 1/2. I once was going to have the shank enlarged to fit me but never did. It was handed down to me in an estate and I know it is over 75 years old. I never wore it and tried to hand it down to other girls in the family. We don't have one woman who was born in August or October in our family. So it's time for me to take it out of the jewelry box w it has been stored for many many years and find it a more appreciative home. It will come in the original box but the box is a bit worn. This would make a lovely gift of a vintage antique ring of the type they just don't quite make any longer. I accept PayPal, money orders or cashiers checks on this item.
