OLD Ethiopian Leather Basket from Aksum, Ethiopia item is very well worn. probably an old 'lunch box' - I have held the basket for almost six years. the basket is near to 50 years old. I originally purchased this item in Aksum, Ethiopia - used, from a family t The basket is in perfect working order with no flaws, stains, or excessive wear. the leather is soft and the interior surfaces are well oiled and perfectly preserved. this item is a one of a kind, and not so easy to come by. it is a joy to touch and smell this basket; it is a small, but effective connection to Ethiopia. all questions will be answered - bid with confidence! [ basket measures 10 inches across and almost 8 inches tall ]
