Up for auction is this smaller Griffin Smith and Hill Etruscan Majolica Begonia Leaf Plate. Griffin, Smith and Hill was a Pennsylvania pottery that made begonia leaf plates 1849-1899. It measures 8" x 5.5". T ae no cracks, chips or wear spots on either the top or bottom. T is some crazing... typical to a plate of this age. The Griffin, Smith & Hill logo is stamped on the bottom. See photos. Included is a free lucite display stand. This special plate is sure to be a standout in your collection.
