You are bidding on an original flax/hemp bedsheet that is at least 60 years old and possibly over 100 years old. These bedsheets were hand woven by the farmers wives and families during the long cold European winters and originate from all over Europe.They were stored in the homesteads in large old chests until needed. Many bedsheets bear the initials of the owners. The reason for this was sheets were often sent elsewhere to be laundered and it made for easy identification once they were returned. We travel all over Europe on a monthly basis and have done so for the last 18 years. We get the opportunity to hand pick these wonderful unique linens from times gone by. We are possibly the biggest importer of this fabric into the USA . These bedsheets have been carefully laundered in a cool cycle and air dried and are of the best value and quality on Ebay.
