ANTIQUE EUROPEAN SILVER FLORAL LINK LONG GUARD / MUFF CHAIN NECKLACE c1900 An antique European solid 800-grade silver long guard / muff-style chain; with later silver bolt ring fastener, and floral links with filigree highlights. Good quality, very attractive & so wearable! CONDITION : All original and very good. Slight signs of wear and faint shallow denting/distortion to links commensurate with age and use. DEFECTS : None. DATE/MARKS : Around 1900. Marked '800'. Maker's(?) marks GF. DIMENSIONS : Approx. 58 inches long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
