Really handsome antique Continental-grade (83% silver) sterling silver bowl from a local Dallas estate, all hand-chased as shown. Well-marked in three places with continental grade sterling marks (see close up pic of the underside, and the marks are just outside the decorated area). No country of origin or maker's marks, but almost certainly European based on the aesthetic and most likely Italian, Portuguese, or similar. An old estate piece and guaranteed old and I would date it to the very late 1800s, ca. 1880 - 1910. A very large piece, it measures about 9" in diameter and 4.5" tall and weighs just a hair over 16 ounces on my kitchen scale. Excellent condition, as shown. No monograms or removals. No pings, dings, dents, or scratches. No structural problems, not out of shape in any way. Very minor wear to the chasing consistent with age, but the chasing still very crisp overall as shown in the pics; not worn down. NO RESERVE and a nominal start and the pics tell the rest of the story, a very nice eBay opportunity. ****************** Please check my feedback and bid with confidence. Exceptional comments throughout and near-perfect five star ratings in all categories and 99.9%++ overall and over 30% of the items I sell have been sold to repeat buyers who ahve bought more than one item from me.
