Antique European Touchmarks Pewter Dinner Plate c.1800

This auction is for one of two different genuine antique pewter dinner plates we are listing. This is a very attractive 9.75", ten-sided plate with a shallow bowl and reeded edge in a soft gray patina. The photos show European touchmarks that I am not familiar with, but I would estimate this plate dates to the early/mid 1800s when pewter dinner ware was the every day norm. The plate is nice and heavy, weighing over 1lb., and shows signs of use with surface scratches, blemishes and a slightly mishapen rim - nothing more than you would expect from being in daily use, giving it a wonderful sense of age and charm that can not be replicated. We pride ourselves on our customer service and pack with extreme care, so please email if you have any questions and check out our feedback. We do not stop auctions early or use Buy It Now. We have set a very conservative starting bid and have not wasted time with a hidden reserve, so happy bidding!
