Another awesome antique sports collectible from HAMMER SPORTS RELICS ! Here we have the second of two pair of late 1930's / early 1940's Everlast leather boxing gloves endorsed by boxing legend JACK DEMPSEY ! Jack Dempsey was a professional heavy weight boxer who fought from 1913 to 1927. He held the title from 1919 to 1927. his fighting record is 66 - 6 - and 11. He is still considered as one of the most dominating heavy weight fighters of all time! The leather on these gloves is in amazing condition! They look and feel as though they have never been used! They have zero damage, no signs of wear, and feel like they could be used today! The JACK DEMPSEY endorsement is marked on both gloves (see photos). The Evelast cloth makers tags are in mint condition and look super! They even have the original draw strings! The model # 1104 is marked below the tags. They measure 11 1/4" long.
