First time offered from a private collection of pumps, this very ornate F. E. Myers and Bro. cast iron force pump has the following patent dates: February 28, 1882, July 11, 1882, September 5, 1882, August 7, 1886 and September 14, 1886. This pump measures: 43" high; pump housing base 7 1/2" wide; pump housing center 6 1/4" wide (middle); pump housing 3" thick; pump base plate (6 mounting holes) 11" wide. The condition of this pump is excellent. No cracks, chips or breaks. Some of the light surface rust was removed only to show the many details. The curved spount is loose but securely attached. The lift rod is slightly bent (minor mix) but still has a complete handle throw. The embossed ship's anchor measures 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" and the eagle measures 3" by 3". Pickup of this item is possible.
