Description: Beautiful Fachralo Kazak Caucasian prayer rug is from Southwest of Caucasus Mountain. This is a striking example of a Fachralo Kazak prayer rug which was created in the third quarter of the nineteenth century perhaps even earlier. The white re-entrant mihrab is dominated by a typical Facharlo medallion, composed of a smaller red medallion inside the larger green medallion. The main medallions in mihrab are similar than we normally see in published Fachralo rugs, but unusual design of borders also unusual design and yellow color of the main border make this rug different than normal Fachralo prayer rugs. Very iteresting old green, madder red, ivory, nice yellow, blue, white, dark and light natural brown complete this absolutely piece of art. Of course all colors are natural and 100% vegetal dyes.The condition of this rug is good for its age, short even pile all over with both ends and selvages are complete. It was made with wool on wool foundation. Both ends have been received super beautiful of restoration by a professional repair man. T some very small repilling areas at the field which also are done by excellent work. The size of this rug is: 6'-4"x4'-3âe. Rug is set at minimum starting price of $9.99 at no reserve, so make your bids on that with confidence before is too late. I doubt that you will finds others like this at this poweful design, color, age, and condition. The value of this rug at any big rug galleries or any international auction houses is more than ten thousand dollars. This is a rare early tribal rug and would make a great addition for the collector of village rugs.
