This is a truly gorgeous antique "Ivory" Bangle bought by my late grandmother's father for her birthday when he was in the, then Belgian Congo in approximately 1930. It has lovely natural graining and a lovely patina. It is in fantastic condition given it's age. It has a hairline stress line in it as can be seen. Only to be expected with something of this age. It does not affect the bangle or the look of it. It is barely noticeable and has no depth or gap whatsoever. I just mentioned it to be 100 % accurate. My wife has worn it a few times but she has very slim wrists and finds it too heavy. When we went to South Africa I bought her two much thinner ones from the Rowland Ward Safari shop in Johannesburg from controlled culled elephants. She wears those all the time so is happy to let someone else enjoy this one now.It is very heavy and weighs 109g. On my kitchen scales. It measures just over 9cm in diameter with an internal diameter of 6 1/2 cm and 2 1/2 cm wide. Email me if you have any other questions. Check this one out that has just sold! 171059655196 It was less than half the weight and sold for £128.00!Also check this one out: 171058967651 - This Ivory bangle sold this evening (Tuesday 25th June) for £369.00.
