Fine antique American, late Federal, Sheraton Butler's desk/chest/secretary circa 1830 . Fine quality antique Butler's desk/chest, made from curly maple and walnut. To the back is a shaped splat, below are two small drawers. The top drawer is a fitted secretary desk, with drawers and pidgeon holes made from burl walnut, below is a felt or baize writing surface.Below this is a set of three graduated drawers, to each side is a supporting column,stands on bun feet. Condition is outstanding, all original finish and hardware,n o damage or repairs,di mensions are; 50" tall, 46" wide x 22" deep. This is a true auction starting at $0.99 and sold without reserve. Do not be daunted by shipping, we ship at cost via the most economical carriers, for larger items of furniture we use Antique Transport, who provide a door to door blanket wrapped service, at affordable rates.
