An original antique 19th century very heavy and high quality figural brass letter opener in the form of a salamander or lizard stalking a fly on a leaf. Letter opener measures 8 1/4" long exhibiting great detail and is particularly heavy. Condition - item has been polished by the previous owner and is in excellent undamaged condition. Item is unconditionally guaranteed 19th century, antique, and is not a reproduction. Sorry, while I appreciate all the interest in my items in fairness too all I do not stop auctions early.
