* Antique Filigree Metal Box/Square Cricket Cage Button Please bookmark our auctions because as much as we would like to list them all at one time, it is physically impossible for us to do that: we have 15 storage boxes filled with huge bags of buttons, tins of buttons, carded collections, individually wrapped buttons, etc. We'll get them up as quickly as we can. We have not cleaned these buttons unless noted (and even then, just to make sure that something is dirt rather than permanent damage); you'll receive them in the same condition we've found them. We do not promise that they will clean up completely; these are offered strictly as-found and as final sale items. This auction is for a very cool button -- It is known as a "cricket cage" : pierced metal with a back that is divided into segments. Two parts come together to form the shank.I hope the pictures do this justice: it is painted white and has become exquisitely weatd with the pattern stamped into the metal coming through dark. An awesome piece. Measures 9/16" square on top and 3/8" sides. We can only combine shipping on auctions won on the same calendar day . We need to pack and ship these out as quickly as we can to make room for the next round, and so although we try to be as accomodating as possible, we can't hold auctions to wait for others you might be bidding on that close a few days later. If we can give you a break we surely will, but can promise combined shipping rates only on auctions that close the same calendar day. Say Hello to a Good Buy! ....
