~ ANTIQUE FIRKIN~ORIGINAL MUSTARD PAINT~c 1800s~BOSTON MA ~ Offered for your bidding consideration with a very low opening bid, I'm delighted to have this early firkin in early original dry milk paint in mustard & oxblood red with super character that lend this piece one-of-a-kind character and one you don't come across every day... This is signed by means of stenciling on the lid "HALL & COLE BOSTON", somewhat smudgy as shown. T are NO staples and no damage, breaks, repairs or re-paint. Please have a look at my photos which I hope will do this more justice than I can with words... A very nice size for display amongst your primitives, or a fine additional to compliment any collection! It measures 9 ¼" tall x 9 ¼" in diameter at the top, and just shy of 10" across the bottom. ~ For your convenience, insurance is optional & will be included upon request ~ Thanks very much for visiting my auction...
