Up for auction is this Estate found antique Sugar Bucket / Firkin. It is made of Oak and has 15 staves (tongue & grove) from 3/4" to 3" wide. The bucket / pantry box is 16 1/2" tall with the handle up and 12" with handle down. The bottom diameter is 12 1/8" with a top diameter of 11 1/2 ". It has a 1" wide bentwood handle attached with wooden pegs. The four 1 1/2" wide finger bands have copper tacks and square nails with no staples. The Firkin is in excellent condition. I believe it has an old yellow / mustard paint over the original green. It has some wear, but it still very sturdy .
