DESCRIPTION Antique pewter pitcher by Flagg & Homan, Cincinnati , Ohio , manufactured c. 1850. The pitcher has a bulbous body and an S-shaped handle with thumb rest. The top rim is folded under. The pitcher is marked on the bottom FLAGG & HOMAN (in an oval) PEWTER/56. DIMENSIONS Pitcher is 7 7/8" tall, 8 5/8" from lip to back of handle and 5 ½" in diameter. CONDITION Pitcher has a nice patina. It has a few dents--one under the lip, a couple flat dents on the round part of the body (one in the center of one side, about 1 ½" in diameter), a few discolored scratches and scrapes and some tiny gouges. The base rim is only a hair out of round. SHIPPING See shipping calculator for shipping charges.
