Antique Flame Mahogany China Cabinet Breakfront Desk NR THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! You are bidding on a BIG & BEAUTIFUL Antique Regency Duncan Phyfe Flame Mahogany Inlaid China Cabinet Breakfront w/ Secretary Desk & Bookcase. This is one of THE NICEST breakfronts I have EVER brought to market and its the REAL thing and a RARE FIND and was made by Stiehl Furniture in New York City. It has a nice blockfront and the glass doors actually have individually set glass pieces in between all that nice open frame work that goes over the glass doors. All the shelves can be adjustable and the piece has a total of 6 drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with brass pull handles that have an embroidery pattern etched into the brass itself. The cabinet down below have shelving in as well. The top has BEAUTFUL open lattice work with a nicely scrolled pediment that has circular floral motifs inlaid in Satinwood on each side. The top drawer flips down to a secretary desk with 2 small drawers and plenty of pigeon holes and around the doors has nicely recessed trim work. The glass doors have solid brass piano hinges and double locks for the doors and a beautiful scalloped carved trim as you can see in the pictures below and t are only a single shelf in each section and one in the bottom door so you can have some more made up as needed. Throughout each drawer and door has beautiful banded edges with a Satinwood and ebony inlay and the top pediment also has a floral inlay on each side as well. The piece has an exotic flame crotch swirl mahogany wood grain pattern and beautifully inlaid throughout. This piece is made of THE HIGHEST quality and is all solid wood construction and very well made but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it and but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 56 1/2 inches wide, 89 inches high to the top finial and approx 16 inches deep. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping. Fortunately enough we are in that line of business and we ship just about anything, anyw in the world so the cost will be cheaper than what you would normally pay.
