It is difficult to find a set of 4 of these wonderful, antique plates in one location!!!! From England, this is a set of F low Blue plates produced by W.A.A & Co, (William Alsager Adderley & Co, of Longton, Staffordshire), No. 397963. Note that the back stamp of the plate is W.A.A. & Co and not Adderley, a later version. This backstamp represents the years 1876-1902. Each plate measures 9-1/4" in diameter. This Flow Blue pattern is called Constance. It has a lovely cobalt blue border pattern with swirls and small bouquets of English Roses. There are 1 or 2 spots along the back edges where the glaze has popped and created an open flea bite. There is grazing throughout, back & front which can be seen under very bright light. In normal light on a display shelf, it is not noticeable. Please make sure you use the ZOOM feature to check out all of the details. I have seen the plates going for $25.00 each and I want you to be totally satisfied! Plates to be shipped ONLY Priority Mail. Priced to sell as is - NO RESERVE. Satisfaction Guaranteed Thanks for looking & Happy Hunting
