is a wonderful complete small tureen in the "Manilla" pattern by Podmore, Walker and Co. It measures 6" high and 9" across (including handles). This is a rare beauty; it includes the ladle which is in perfect condition. The color is a deep flowing blue, the handles are curved and very victorian and t is embossing around the top finial, giving it a fancy sweet look. T is a shallow chip on the outside of the lid (pictured) and a small flake on the other side of the lid which you can see from the photos, a small bit of roughness on the inside of the lid and crazing on the bottom (pictured). It is marked as shown (Stoneware PW & Co) incised. Pattern is pictured on Snyder's "Pocket Guide to Flow Blue" on page 75 (note that his covered vegetable dish in this pattern is valued at $800 to $900). A great rare piece in a very desirable pattern; a must for serious collectors. This is part of a large estate of wonderful flow blue I recently found fresh from a New England home. I will be listing more in the next few weeks, including rare Scinde and Amoy pieces. Thanks for bidding!
