ANTIQUE TRILBY WASH BASIN & MATCHING PITCHER This bowl with pitcher is Flow Blue Trilby, Wood & Sons, England, c. 1865-1910 "Wood and Sons (Ltd), Staffordshire potters operated the Trent and New Warf Potteries at Burslem since 1865. Son was changed to Sons around 1907; Ltd. was added in 1910. T was no incised trademark applied to any of the Trilby works until 1891. This particular set is only identified with the name Trilby with an inscribed gold registration mark of 6002 1/2 The basin has minor crazing and t are 3 small chips on the inside bottom of the basin presumably caused by the pitcher. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The basin measures 17" in diameter with a depth of 4 1/2" and the pitcher is 10" tall with a 10" diameter at its fullest bodied measurement and is 10 1/2" from the edge of the spout to the outer most part of the handle The Appraised Fair Market Value is $375 With The Replacement Cost of $450 A certificate of the appraised value will be provided to the winning bidder / buyer
