Antique Folding Church Pew - Seats Two This folding church pew was discovered during the renovation of our church. We had to go back and research some of our senior members to find the history on this pew. It seems that they were purchased by the church in 1926 from a source in Chicago. We are not sure if that means it was manufactured in Chicago. This pew is Hard Maple. We cannot find a manufacturer, nor can anybody recall the name of the manufacturer. The church is 135 years old and has built five church homes and moved four times and is now completely rebuilding the 5th facility. The folding church pew was retired in 1948 and was moved from church building to church building but never used. In short - they were used from 1926 to 1948 and never used again. We just finished cleaning it up and it's almost like the day it was purchased. Outside of a well hidden scratch or two, this pew is almost in mint condition. No structure or wood damage from age. Please review the picture(s). The pew is 81 years old and is a remarkable peice of furniture. It measures 37 inches wide and 39 inches high. The seat measures 17 inches high and each seat measures 18 inches wide with a one inch runner inbetween them. Completely folded, it measures 4 inches wide. We are located in the Southern Kansas City Area and are offering shipping options as follows. Local Pick Up - ( That means you come and pick them up ), or Will deliver within twenty five miles from the church at 42 cents per mile round trip, or We will put you in contact with the Belton, Missouri UPS Store or any shipper of your choice. In short - Shipping arrangements are to be completely handeled by the winner. We will assist in any way we can to make this sale happen. Please feel free to ask questions.
