This is a very nice and relatively rare No.2 "FPK" Model D Folding Pocket Kodak camera circa 1906. T is some leather "chipping" on the back cover and the red exposure number view window was replaced years ago with Scotch tape inside ( see pictures ) but that one is an easy fix. One of the metal closure tabs on the rear cover is partially missing but still holds the back closed although a knife or some other thin tool is needed to disengage it. Otherwise, the leather is in good shape with rich brown color and the original carry strap with original serial number stamped in is near perfect. The red bellows leather is fully pliable, light tight, and remarkably even in color given it's 100+ year age. The body has rounded ends ( unusual ). The body and folding door are aluminum and are covered in leather.Inside, the mechanics of this beauty are brass, nickel, and cherry wood, the stage and standard being cherry, the rails nickel. The lens mounting face is brass and all the other movable parts are nickel. They look terrific with minimal wear and are fully functioning. The shutter operates correctly at all settings. Lens is clear and the original viewfinder's mirror and lenses are surprisingly clear and workable. Somewhat unusual for a camera of this age. It would be a fine addition to any photographers collection. Google search this camera and you will not find many... **International Bidders** I will ship anyw in the world w it is legal to do so. Contact me prior to bidding and I will tell you shipping cost.
