ANTIQUE FOLK ART WALL BOX WITH BLUEISH GREEN, RED AND TRACES OF ORANGE PAINT This is a good example of a circa 1900 primitive painted wall box. It remains untouched and is offered as recently found in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It weighs one pound and measures 7-1/4" wide x 4-1/4" deep x 6-1/2" tall. It features a wonderful folk art appearance with its faded blueish green paint surrounded by equally faded red and orange borders. Made from pine wood, it remains in good condition, but does show some general wear. It has a wrapped wire attached to the back for easy hanging. A nice folk art wall box with lots of possible uses!
