is what I believe to be an early antique hand forged six prong animal trap drag or grapple in very good condition with what looks like an early B&L chain. This was found after many years of idle storage with some other traps I have listed. The drag was covered with a modest coating of surface rust, I did a quick rub with steel wool and WD40 to try and darken up the iron, it is still in decent shape with minimal pitting. The chain has a figure eight connector and swivel with the eye fastener being cut [see photo], it measures approx 30" in total length. Grab measures approx 8+1/2" in diameter and 4+1/4" high to the top of the eye. Displays well in any antique trap collection or use for hanging display objects. Will be shipped USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, I do combine shipping for savings using flat rate boxes.
