Hi I am Steve Pfeiffer, author of the book Collecting Case Knives - Identification and Price Guide , published by Krause Publications. I have been collecting Case and other brands of antique pocket Knives since 1973. I am offering some fine collectible pocket knives for sale. This auction is for a very desirable antique "Cattle" pattern pocket knife. This is a heavy built strongly constructed knife with extra thick backsprings and a thick heavy center liner. A real handful of a knife with nice old brown bone handles and a lot of character. Cattle pattern knives were usually made with three blades; four bladed versions are rare and desirable. FORGED/USA, circa 1940's to 1950's. 3-5/8" closed length. Classic cattle knife, all four blades with super strong snap. All blades are about full, have been sharpened and used with no blade loss, light gray patina and light scratches. The nice dark brown jigged bone handles have minimal pocket wear and no cracks or chips. Nickel silver bolsters, brass pins, brass liners. I believe that this is a contract knife made by Camillus for Sears. A classic American made super quality knife. See my other auctions in my Ebay store for more old collectible knives. 7-DAY RETURN PRIVILEGES FOR REFUND LESS SHIPPING CHARGES ANY KNIVES IN THIS AUCTION LISTED AS HAVING BONE HANDLES HAVE HANDLES MADE OF read more
