Up for auction is this Antique Framed Japanese Hand Painted Block Print Lades . This is a wonderful block print type of printing of eight 8 different Japanese women in wonderful Kimono's and dress, in five different square blocks, one with her little dog, all hand colored and four are signed. The black and brown appear to be block printed on and then hand colored, including real gold and silver highlights for the very fine detail painting. This print is framed in a period mahogany wood frame with orginial glass. Since this is a glass framed item and very fragile, I will ship this item only with in the USA. The back of the frame has a silver sticker that reads The Veerhoff Galleries Washington DC, Established 1871. This is an Antique print dating from circa 1890's and is in very good condition, a few very minor dots of dirt on the paper. Measures 14 and 1/2 inches long and 10 1/2 inches tall.
