~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~I LOVE this textile!! ~*~ Such a sweetie ~*~ this textile is an antique French mattress cover that dates c 1850. Made using a hand woven medium to heavy weight cotton with blue plaid ~ this textile has been opened out and is formed like a sack, sides seamed and top open. GORGEOUS little hand mends, patches etc! Lovely fading to the blue and smooth dense weave ~*~ It would make the most wonderful addition to any primitive , French country or rustic interior. The hand stitched seams are lovely.
