Dating from around the 1920s, this small, oval, French vanity box is covered with gold metallic lace braided trim with a large gold metallic and lame' rose on the center lid. Under the netted top and the metallic sides is pink fuschia satin. The box is strong and in good usable condition with all the elements intact. The underside of the bottom has lost a little of original outer paper as if a label was removed but it is still strong. It is a charming boudoir accessory. Size: 5" x 4" x 2 1/2" high Please don't hesitate to email me with questions. I try to answer same day as received and I'm friendly. I am also a novice photographer so if the exact color is of paramount importance, I suggest you email me so I can tell you how "true" the photo color is to the item (it's usually pretty close). Foreign buyers need to be aware that I do not include customs or duty charges. Please note that many of my items are light enough to be shipped first class mail which is very reasonable, but I can't track or insure first class mail. If you select First Class Mail you do so at your risk. This is a final sale unless I have inadvertently misrepresented this read more
