is a very nice antique, vintage French bronze of an Arabian Horse by Pierre Lenordez 1815-1892. It measures ~18-3/4" X 13-1/2" (47.6cm X 34.3cm). The patina is a nice warm dark brown. The bronze in marked with the words Arabian Etalon. It is signed P. Lenordez and at the front rim are the words: Duplan C Salles or Falles. These seem like names to me and maybe the foundry or casting company. Otherwise I am not sure what it may mean. I think this original, but it maybe a vintage recasting. The name on front probably answers that question. Condition is great with no damage except a bit of wear to the patina (natural wear). A beautiful bronze in great detail and condition.
