Antique French Carved Oak BARLEY TWIST Stool Bench Renaissance Revival, Exquisite Carved details!! Direct from France, this listing is for an outstanding antique French oak stool or bench. Rarely do I find a stool that is such an absolute statement piece, but this one fits the bill, and my buyer in France actually found a pair of them, so I have another one listed separately!!!âe¦âe¦âe¦âe¦The stool has fabulous barley twist legs and bobbin stretchers that meet in the center with a large wooden finialâe¦âe¦âe¦..and a beautiful hand carved seat with gently scalloped edges and gracefully rounded cornersâe¦âe¦.the large beveled edge is also hand carved, leaving not a single area of this beautiful stool unadorned!! It has a dark, rich finish, with wonderful oak grain and a lovely aged patina. Measurements: 18âeH x 14âe x 14âe; 11 ½âe x 11 ½âe stool top. Condition: The stool is in good condition for its age, sturdy and strong with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches and other imperfections. Shipping : Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $40.00. (lower 48 states only).
