Antique French Wall Aneroide Barometer and Thermometer in an exquisite hand carved solid Walnut case. Measuring 32" tall, 13 1/2" wide and 3 1/4" deep at the widest points. Two stunning deep carved Dragons accent each side of the Aneroide Barometer. Full spiral carved colums flank the Thermometer with top spindled gallery, top acorn finials and endless hand carved detail make this a real beauty. I included lots of pictures to show the detail. Beautiful finish all in very nice original condition. Most likely late 1800's to early 1900's from France. Original Centigrade BulbThermometer on a large 7 1/2" tall porcelain hand painted floral plaque. The Barometer is 5" in diameter with a thick beveled glass and brass ring. The Centigrade Thermometer is working but I do not know if the Barometer is working but appears to be completely intact and operative. Both Thermometer and Barometer are indicated in French. This is not a reproduction and the piece has been very well cared for over the years and is quite evident in its condition. The original finish on the piece is just stunning and is ready to hang on its original hardware. The Barometer will be very carefully packed and insured to ensure a safe delivery to your home or business and can be yours if you are the winning bidder. I take extra care in packing these delicate antiques. This item will be bubble wrapped, boxed and then double boxed with several inches of packing peanuts.
