Up for auction is this antique, S.Marti et Cie , Medialle de Bronze , open escapement clock movement, dial, face and bezel. All complete and in good condition. The thick beveled glass is also in good condition with no chips or breaks although it does have a few scratches as seen in pic. The inside ring measures 3 inches and is signed " Bigelow Kennard & Co, Boston ." The open escapement jewels are intact and runs good. The bezel measures 5 3/4 inch outside diameter and measures about 5 inches deep (to the end of the mounting arms). The plate is stamped "S. Marti et Cie, Medialle de Bronze" and is numbered 2921 on the back plate and on the outside ring as seen in pics. After some research I found that this movement dated 1860. I do not have any hands or a pendulum for this movement. As with all old clocks and movements, some adjustments may be needed afer shipping.
