This is a great antique French terra cotta sbust sculpture of a crying child pierrot with a bee on his cheek and a velvet cap. It is clearly signed on the bottom "G.D. Paris Depose 1372" with part of an original paper label. It has great detail and character. It measures approx. 4 1/4" tall x 3 3/4" across. It is in very good condition with the glass wings of the bee having been broken long ago, otherwise no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Note insurance is required.
