This is an Antique, Vintage, very collectable, OLD Top Lock Ring pull, EUROPEAN single blade, stag horn tip handle, pocket knife. Great staghorn antler Fine Quality construction. This is not cheaply made. Has the screw pin for the master Blade. Blade looks sharpened, nice patina, tip is down, with age evidence from some old peppered pitting. It is about 4 inches long closed! Fine sturdy cast steel spring and lock back system locks BLADE OPEN AND YOU HAVE TO PULL THE RING TO CLOSE THE BLADE. Rich stag horn antler bone handles. LOOKS and WORKS great. Good strong snap. Not sure of age, but blade is marked with the stamp "Nogent" and NO country of origin. (Pre 1892 Country of Origin Tariff) Stag horn antler Knife handle has No pincracks. Fine old Steel pinched Bolsters. Probably from the early 1900's but this style of pick lock knife was used in America as early as the Revolutionary war. Great for Re-enactors and Being an antique, it should only improve in Value. Beautiful for a 100+ year old knife. See PICS. Get a Great Deal on this very high quality lifetime pocketknife.
