Antique French Empire Marble Top Night Tables !RARE! NR THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on a pair of Antique French Empire Marble Top Night Tables. This is a TRUE matching pair of nightstands / commodes and a VERY RARE FIND. These are THE NICEST and RAREST of night tables I have ever brought to market. They have beautiful Bronze Dore Ormolu mounts with beautiful figural faces at the top of each column and bronze feet at the bottom of each column. The top backsplash has a beautiful floral leaf motif in Bronze as well the matching figural columns that are on the base of the nightstands as well. Throughout these pieces has nice bronze trim work going around the edges. Each piece has a single drawer with cabinet door that have beautiful bronze pull handles that have a floral swag pattern etched into the brass itself. Another RARITY is the inside of each cabinet is lined with porcelain as you can see in the pictures below. The marble tops are in a beautiful pinkish rose with various color veins in the marble. Each night table commode sits on nicely carved feet with paneled sides and nicely recessed trim work. It has an exotic mahogany wood grain pattern as well. This piece was VERY WELL made and is all wood construction but Please understand that these are approx 100 years old and all original so it has some minor imperfections on it and one of the small bronze feet are missing and hard to notice and overall its in excellent shape. Each piece measures approx 17 3/4 inches wide, 32 inches high to the top of the marble and 49 3/4 inches high to the top backsplash and approx 15 3/4 inches deep. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping. Fortunately enough we are in that line of business and we ship just about anything, anyw in the world so the cost will be cheaper than what you would normally pay.
