Antique French Gilded Sofa Loveseat Aubusson Bench NR ! THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!!! You are bidding on an Antique Designer French Gilded Gold Leaf Sofa Loveseat Aubusson Bench. I have the matching French Gilded Parlor Club Dining Chairs to this set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions are starting at one dollar bids with NO reserve. The set was very well made and a VERY RARE FIND. This set was made of jesso / gesso which is a form of plaster of Paris and is from France turn of the century. It is beautifully gilded in gold leaf and sits on French curved cabriole legs with scroll tipped feet. The top of the has a beautiful shell crested floral motif as well. Each corner of the legs as well as the front has beautifully carved rosettes as you can see in the pictures below. The upholstery is a nice floral decor pattern with an embossed trim going around the edges. This is a RARE find and can be used as a Parlor Set in the living room or bench in the dining room, hallway and can be used as a beautiful accent piece anyw in the hosue. I took a picture of the loveseat with the matching chairs that is on a separate Ebay auction so you can get a better idea on what it looks like. This set was very well made and is truly a RARE find but Please understand that this is an antique and they are ALL original and has some minor imperfections on it and some of the gold leaf is chipped off and the upholstery either needs to be cleaned or recovered. This is very HARD to come by and overall is in excellent shape considering its age. This piece measures approx 62 inches long, 42 1/2 inches high, 25 inches deep and sits at approx 16 inches in height. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at 1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping. Fortunately enough we are in that line of business and we ship just about anything, anyw in the world so the cost will be cheaper than what you would normally pay.
