Very finely detailed gilt brass ormolu and cut crystal dish in a neoclassical/empire aesthetic, maidens with garlands of flowers approach two charioteers. Unconditionally guaranteed genuine gilt brass ormolu and cut crystal and not any type of lesser materials. An old estate piece from a very good Dallas picker resource and unconditionally guaranteed authentic and old and not any type of modern reproduction; you won't be disappointed. Appears totally unmarked on careful and honest inspection but almost certainly European/French and I would date it to the later part of the 1800s, ca. 1860 - 1890. CONDITION: Excellent condition, as shown in the pics. T is a very small chip to the rim of the cut-crystal liner and also a tiny fleabite on the rim. Barely noticeable except on very careful inspection and definitely not detracting as the pics show, but noted for completeness. Also, a very small chip to the bottom of the crystal liner that is completely invisible when the crystal liner is in place in the ormolu mounting. Otherwise, nothing to complain about on caerful and honest inspection. NO pings, dings, dents, scratches, or missing bits to the ormolu mounting, no chips, cracks, hairlines, fleabites, or discolorations to the crystal. Overall, the pics are very honest and show the condition well and you will not be disappointed in the condition of this piece. SIZE: About 4.75" long and 3" wide and 3" tall and it would be considered a nice small-size piece. Bid with confidence, I take returns (cash refund less shipping if returned within 7 days in same condition), but this is a handsome piece and you aren't going to want to give it back. NO RESERVE and a very low start and the pics tell the rest of the story, a very nice eBay opportunity.
