I will be listing some fabulous antique and vintage costume and fine jewellery, 1920's/30's clothing and accessories. These items are all from my personal collection but please note that I am not a jeweller or vintage expert. I describe all items honestly and to the best of my ability but please study the photos carefully and be aware that these are vintage items and they will have signs of age even if in excellent condition. DESCRIPTION Exquisite antique French 18kt Gold and Persian Turquoise drop earrings. Known as Day/Night earrings because the pendant part can be removed and the top worn alone. Beautifully detailed they feature a natural turquoise drop while the top portion has one central silver/grey 'bead' surrounded by turquoise coloured beads. I am not sure whether the turquoise beads are actually turquoise stones or not. The turquoise drops are more of a green/blue colour while the small 'beads' inset in the top flower portion are a robins egg blue. These earrings go in from behind the ear and fasten securely with a hook closure at the top of the 'flower' portion. No stamps or marks that I can find. These are simply gorgeous on, feminine yet not too dainty. Purchased from a reputable antique dealer in the US for $800 several years ago. As I am not a jeweller please understand that this description is based on the information given to me at the time of sale. If these earrings are found to be not as described I will happily accept a return. Otherwise all sales are final please. CONDITION In excellent antique condition with no major issues to note. These earrings have clearly been treasured and well cared for. MEASUREMENTS Total length from top to bottom is approximately 44mm If worn without the pendant drops, the flower portion measures 15mm long The turquoise drops are approximately 9mm high x 6mm wide. Shipping is $50 for Worldwide Express from Australia with full tracking and signature confirmation. Estimated delivery time is 3-5 working days depending on the destination and subject to Customs clearance. Any duties incurred are the sole responsibility of the buyer so please be aware of your country's Customs tariffs and regulations.
