PHENOMENAL FRENCH CONSOLE TABLE "ONE OF A KIND" I purchased this console in Belgium about 15 years ago while on a buying trip for a client. I fell in love with the details and quality and it has been in my home ever since. Due to downsizing, I no longer have a formal setting for this beautiful work of art. THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION This table is solid mahogany with a solid marble top carved to fit inside the handcarved top edge of the table.( see photo's) All of the carving is done by hand. You can see the carving details on the underside of the table. The main cherub and the two cherub heads on the front corners are accented with tasteful gold gilt. There are other gilt accents as pictured. This is a very substantial table. Dimensions: Height: 33.5" Width: 50" Depth: 18.5" at deepest point I was in the antiques business for over 25 years and have not seen a piece to compare with this console table.
