You are bidding on an Antique French Louis XVI Daybed. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and is from the late 19th Century from France Circa 1880. This is the first time I have ever seen a daybed like this and is by far the NICEST daybed I have ever brought to market and can be used as a settee or loveseat with the right decor. Its sits on beautifully curved French cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The corner of each leg has a beautifully carved shell crested floral motif. The sides have BEAUTIFUL double caning on the inside and the front of EACH side with a beautifully carved floral decor design etched into the wood atthe top of each side. The sides are also beautifully scrolled with a beautifully scrolled leaf carved atthe top of each side in the front with great detail. The piece has nicely recessed trim throughout with a floral motif carved at the middle of the bed. I took a picture of the piece with all its decorative accessories justto give you ideas of your own. This piece is truly ONE OF A KIND and a very HARD FIND. This was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that these are antiques and have some minor imperfections on it and overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 83 1/2 inches long, 39 1/4 inches wide and approx 32 inches high.
