You are bidding on an Antique French Louis XVI Curio China Cabinet Display Case Bookcase. This is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty and dates back to Circa 1930 American made. Because of its size it can be placed in a foyer, hallway, living room, dining room and anyw else throughout your home as an accent piece that will without doubt be a topic of conversation and great for display. It has glass on all 3 of its sides which makes it great for display. It sits on beautifully curved and tapered French cabriole legs with scrolled feet. The corner of each leg has a nicely carved floral crest in beautifully gilded accent trim. The top of each side has beautifully carved flowers and rosettes as you can see in the pictures above. The bottom has 2 nicely curved and inlaid drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with bronze pull handles that have a French ribbonback design etched into the bronze itself. The front door has nice curved glass with glass shelving. The bottom has nicely curved sides as well with beautiful Satinwood inlays over Ebony stringing inlays going throughout the edges. The sides and the front have a beautiful shell crested floral motif with a floral swag design as well all in gilded accent trim going throughout the bottom. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape. This piece measures approx 63 1/4 inches high, 31 inches wide and approx 15 inches deep.This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
