You are bidding on an Antique French Louis XVI Inlaid Satinwood Queen Size Bed. This piece is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to Circa 1900 made in France. The bed is made of THE HIGHEST quality in and sits on beautifully rounded legs with a shell crested motif at the top of the footboard with floral Ancathus leaves in Bronze. The top of the headboard has a nicely curved top rail with beautiful floral Bronze motifs at the top of each side in a tapestry etched floral design. Throughout the bed is BEAUTIFULLY inlaid and banded. It has a beautiful and exotic wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and all wood construction but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it with its age but overall its in excellent shape. The bed overall measures approx 62 1/4 inches wide and 80 inches long. The headboard is approx 61 1/4 inches high and the footboard is approx 37 1/2 inches high. This is a NO RESERVE auction and since I am assuming all the risk by starting the bidding at $1 dollar you will have to pay for shipping.
