Antique French Oak Victorian Carved Barley Twist Chair ORNATE Pierced Carved, Solid Oak, Dark Finish!! This listing is for a gorgeous antique French oak hall chair, in a most unique style, easily used as a hall chair, occasional chair, powder room or boudoir chair!! This antique chairâÂeÂ(tm)s exquisite features include: SOLID oak construction, with a dark, rich finish; Slat back with elegant pierced carvings; Barley twist stiles with ornate finials on top; Barley twist âÂeÂoeHâÂe stretchers; Carved corner blocks; Large solid wood seat with decorative carving on seat top and beveled edges. An absolutely BEAUTIFUL piece, excellent as an accent piece anyw in your home or office, and certain to compliment any dÃf©cor, from traditional to French, Victorian to Gothic, Colonial to cottage!! All of my antiques are hand selected from European container shipments. Condition : The chair is in good condition, structurally sound and visually appealing, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. Age appropriate wear includes wood separation across the seat, which doesnâÂeÂ(tm)t affect the structural condition of the chair, and is very common in these chairs with solid wood seats.
