ANTIQUE FRENCH ORMOLU & ENAMEL FLORAL OPERA GLASSES DESCRIPTION Stunning quality antique late Victorian opera glasses, which have been produced from ormolu with rich blue enamel panels to the barrels and bone (?) eye pieces and focus adjusting wheel. The enamel panel have been beautifully decorated with floral panel, each one being slightly different, and each are highlighted with gold gilt and enamel "jewels". AGE Late Victorian, circa 1880 SIZE 10cm (4") wide, 5cm (1Â¾") high and 3.5cm (1Â½") deep. CONDITION The glasses are in a very good condition for age, although t are two cracks to the enamel on each barrel (both near to the top rim). The ormolu is in a good condition with only minor wear consistent with use. One of the bone (?) eye pieces has a crack. The focus wheel is fully operational, and t is no major damage/scratches to the lenses. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
