Antique Desktop Floral Letter Holder French Porcelain on Brass Stand Item Description Gorgeous antique letter holder from 19th century France in porcelain & brass ! Fine HAND PAINTED porcelain -- three rising tiers for letters with rising back piece with large cartouche on top. Scrolled gilt trim around sides and top of each tier. Beautiful painted garlands of flowers on each layer AND on sides -- pink, violet , soft red/orange, pink , yellow & green, on crisp white porcelain, top of each back piece is tinted blue on top border. Back of piece is all light blue Built into beautiful heavy brass footed stand. Scrolled center floral decoration, front scrolled legs, back straight legs. Measures 8" tall in back, 9" wide, 7" front to back. Bottom has handpainted FRANCE mark. Stunning heavy fine antique - so beautiful in the entry, vanity , library etc. I have USPS pick up from my home twice per week and ship on the next pick up day after payment.
